What a funny design T-shirt! Mother tree, father tree, brother tree and baby tree formed a happy family. I always admire the imagination of the designers. In designing these family tree t-shirts, I wanted to focus on the joke coming across in a single panel comic sort of way. It’s obviously an illustration to amplify a play on words, so why not have some fun with it? These designs were created on a tablet pc laptop with minor adjustments. I personally enjoy a sketchier look on comic illustrations and the tablet is extremely useful for that. The colors are limited, but the expressions and character interaction allow for a successful palpable design.
Candice is currently located in Atlanta, and spends her time doing character concept work for short and full length feature films.
